Customized surveys encouraged

The Myers Group administers outpatient surveys for hospitals using mail, telephone, web, active IVR, or mixed methodologies.  The Myers Group has designed a survey tool that measures satisfaction with outpatient hospital experiences in the areas of outpatient surgery, emergency department, rehabilitation, radiology, laboratory, and all other outpatient areas.  While our survey tool is available for replication by clients, we actively look for opportunities to customize survey questionnaires so that the results support the quality improvement and overall initiatives of each hospital client.

While The Myers Group has extensive experience in administering all data collection methodologies, for most hospital surveys, the telephone methodology enables a highly skilled, professional interviewer to contact patients immediately following discharge in a cost effective manner.  The number of survey completes needed to achieve 95% confidence in results, with an acceptable margin of error (+/-5%), is determined for each hospital’s outpatient grouping so that the exact number of survey completes is targeted monthly.  Whether outpatient surveys are administered by professional telephone interview, mail, active IVR, web or a hybrid of these, all aspects of data collection, project management, and reporting are conducted in-house, and not outsourced.

Once survey questionnaires are finalized and fielded, the final reporting that the client receives is designed in partnership with the client so they receive comprehensive, easy to understand color reports containing actionable data.
