A.C. MYERS III – President/CEO
Mr. Myers founded The Myers Group in 1993 to focus on healthcare market research, specifically patient and member satisfaction and performance improvement measurement. Because of his research interests, Mr. Myers continues to be involved in survey design and analysis operations. In addition, he provides leadership and strategic direction for Corporate Development, Client Account Services, Operations, and Finance.
Mr. Myers has a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA, and a Bachelor of Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. He has more than 23 years of professional healthcare experience.
Mr. Myers has authored numerous articles related to patient/member satisfaction measurement and presented at national conferences. He has been a member of the Healthcare Information Management System Society and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
DAVID BAHLINGER – Director, Analytics and Research
Mr. Bahlinger has four years of experience at The Myers Group and an additional 13 years of research experience in the healthcare industry. His expertise lies in research methodology, data analysis and the presentation of survey results.
Mr. Bahlinger's responsibilities include the scheduling of project work and directing the research capabilities of The Myers Group. In addition, he orchestrates research collection processes and oversees all project analytic work. The research performed by The Myers Group assists in the development of product lines and serves as a consultative resource to our clients. Mr. Bahlinger works with clients to develop survey tools, report deliverables, final report reviews, and on-site presentations. He brings a combination of extensive experience with advanced statistical methodologies and publication/survey development to The Myers Group.
Mr. Bahlinger has a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Marketing from the University of Tulsa, OK.
ROSEANN CAROTHERS – Director, Corporate Development
As Director of Corporate Development, Ms. Carothers directs the sales and marketing team for The Myers Group. She is responsible for developing and executing strategies that support the company’s business plans and growth initiatives. She provides consultative support to managed care organizations and integrated delivery systems in the areas of member satisfaction, patient/member loyalty, management/leadership education, and analysis.
Ms. Carothers directs new product development efforts merging client needs with internal capabilities of The Myers Group. She also serves on the company’s Board of Directors. Recently, she was a presenter on the topic of CAHPS at the 2006 BCBS Association HEDIS Conference.
In addition to her nine-year tenure with The Myers Group, Ms. Carothers has significant healthcare experience in the areas of MSO network development and CME coordination.
Ms. Carothers has a Master’s degree in Health Administration and an MBA from the University of Houston, Houston, TX. She completed an Administrative Residency with the 500 bed St. David’s Health System in Austin, TX. Ms. Carothers earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas, Austin,TX.
JEFFREY LORBER – Director, Call Center Operations
For the past five years, Mr. Lorber has been responsible for directing the Call Center operations for The Myers Group. In that time, he has overseen the expansion of the Call Center from 28 CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) stations to 73. In addition, he manages all quality control functions, the scheduling of all projects, as well as the recruiting, hiring, training, and management of the telephone interviewers. He oversees the integration of the Call Center with other operational areas and identifies and supports market development opportunities.
Having worked in the market research field since 1979, Mr. Lorber’s experience includes business development, customer retention, process management, hiring and training of personnel, telephone data collection, mall research, mystery shopping, and systems development. He has managed multiple, large-scale call centers as well as corporate staff including department managers in Accounting, IT, Data Processing, Bidding, and Field Management.
Mr. Lorber earned a Master’s degree in English from Hollins University, Roanoke, VA, and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA.
DEBBIE TORRE – Director, Operations
As the Director of Operations for The Myers Group, Ms. Torre is a key player in the company’s leadership team. She is responsible for strategic planning, organization, and implementation of policies and procedures for the operations of the business.
In addition, Ms. Torre is responsible for the overall management of day-to-day operations, including direct oversight of all production areas, Project Management, and Information Technology. She manages The Myers Group's quality assurance programs and corporate compliance, in addition to monitoring NCQA, State and Federal guidelines and requirements.
Ms. Torre oversees the submission process for CAHPS survey data to NCQA and NCBD, the Office of Personnel Management, and State entities. She is responsible for submission of HCAHPS data to QualityNet Exchange, in addition to overseeing the data submission process for the Medicare HOS conducted on behalf of CMS and NCQA.
Ms. Torre has more than 17 years of leadership and management experience, including ten years with The Myers Group.

JEFFERSON DAVIS– IT Manager – Hardware Support/CATI Programming
Mr. Davis is responsible for network connectivity, telecommunications, and data security at The Myers Group. He manages the IT team and oversees database administration and Call Center programming. With six years of experience at The Myers Group, Mr. Davis has more than ten years of previous experience in technology administration and management.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, and holds professional certifications as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet.
GLORIA HAYNES – Accounting Manager
Ms. Haynes is responsible for The Myers Group’s financial statements, cash management, and budgeting. In addition, she manages the Accounting and Human Resources departments. She has worked for the company for two years and currently serves on the Board of Directors.
Ms. Haynes has 23 years of experience in the accounting field. She earned a Master of Education with a major in Business Education from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL.
SHERRELLE KYLE – Operations Manager, Project Management
As the Operations Manager for Project Management for The Myers Group, Ms. Kyle is responsible for overseeing all Project Management activity within the department. Ms. Kyle provides leadership to the Project Management team. She is responsible for formulating each client’s survey management plan, prioritizing work, maintaining department project schedules, and communicating workflow and priorities with other departments.
Additionally, Ms. Kyle is key in the development and implementation of industry standard project management methodologies into the organization. A three-year employee at The Myers Group, Ms. Kyle has a broad base of experience in operations and project management. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Jackson State University, Jackson, MS.
MICHAEL MITCHELL – Senior Operations Manager, Survey Administration
Mr. Mitchell oversees the Survey Administration area for The Myers Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for the daily operations of survey design/typesetting, print management, outgoing/incoming mail operations, and the survey processing/scanning technology.
He has in depth knowledge of several industry standard software packages used to design and process surveys including Quark, Adobe Creative Suites, and Verity’s TELEFORM scanning software. Mr. Mitchell also has extensive experience with high production mail house equipment, software, and USPS regulations. In addition, he works closely with outside print vendors to ensure the quality and timeliness of print materials ordered and delivered.
With seven years of experience at The Myers Group, Mr. Mitchell has more than 14 years of project management and administrative leadership experience, including direct supervision of employees, staff recruiting, training, and cost analysis. He was educated at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA. .
Q. CHRISTINA LIAO, Ph.D. – Statistical Consultant
Dr. Liao serves as a consultant to The Myers Group and regularly reviews reports and analytic processes to ensure statistical integrity and offer ideas for improving The Myers Group’s research and reporting capabilities. She serves as a resource to Analysts, Account Executives, Project Managers, and clients in presenting and translating complex statistical concepts and results into meaningful and actionable business insights.
Dr. Liao has in-depth knowledge and experience in all facets of market research in a wide range of industry fields. She offers expertise in sophisticated statistical modeling techniques such as Conjoint Analysis, Discrete Choice Modeling, Structural Equation Modeling, Latent Class Modeling, and Multilevel Modeling. She also has extensive experience in the application of advanced statistical modeling techniques in a wide range of business issues such as brand equity, price elasticity, customer purchase behaviors, market segmentation, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, customer value, market share, advertising effect, and a company's competitive strengths and weaknesses in the marketplace. She has experience in working with federal agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Dr. Liao has a Ph.D. in Research, Statistics, and Measurement, and a Master of Science in English from Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA.
